Description
When you're out tramping or camping, having hot water ready in minutes makes preparing coffee, tea or a dehydrated meal that much easier. The Jetboil Flash 1.0L Cooking System brings the burner and cooking pot together in one compact setup, using Jetboil's FluxRing heat exchanger to transfer heat efficiently and reduce fuel consumption. With a manufacturer-rated boil time of just 120 seconds for 500mL of water, you can spend less time waiting and more time enjoying your break.
The updated Flash makes starting and operating the stove particularly straightforward. Its built-in turn-and-click ignition works much like a household gas hob, allowing you to ignite the burner directly from the control knob. As your water heats, the thermochromatic indicator on the insulating cosy provides a visual signal when it is ready, removing the need to repeatedly lift the lid and check.
The redesigned three-point locking system creates a secure connection between the burner and cooking pot, with visual alignment indicators that make fitting and removing the pot easier. A rubberised grip zone provides a convenient handling area, while the improved lid makes pouring hot water more controlled. The insulating cosy surrounds the 1L cooking pot, helping retain warmth while providing a practical outer grip.
When it's time to pack up, the Flash keeps everything organised. The burner and supplied fuel-canister stabiliser nest inside the cooking pot, with room to store a 100g JetPower fuel canister, sold separately. The bottom cover also doubles as a measuring cup or bowl, making it useful for preparing meals without carrying additional cookware.
The Flash is primarily designed for efficiently boiling water, but compatible accessories can expand its usefulness. Add a Jetboil Silicone Coffee Press for fresh coffee outdoors, or use the separately available Pot Support 2.0 to accommodate compatible pots and pans. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast before hitting the track or a warm meal at camp, the Flash provides a practical balance of speed, fuel efficiency and packability.
